Own the Internet, Packy McCormick - Packy’s a Duke guy, so of course I have to show him some love. But he’s also written the best explanation of why Ethereum is different from bitcoin and why owning ETH is like owning a piece of the Internet. Definitely a must read.
A simple explanation of Ethereum from Reddit - read this if you don’t have time for Packy’s piece above.
ETHEREUM 2.0, Finematics - explanation of ETH 2.0
Proof-of-Stake (vs proof-of-work), Simply Explained - ETH 2.0 is moving to Proof of Stake (PoS). This is a great primer on how PoS differs from Proof of Work (PoW) and why it’s so much more energy efficient.
More Advanced:
Bitcoin whitepaper - this is technical and tough to understand, so I wouldn’t read it unless you really want to. I found this deck helpful in breaking it down into understandable pieces
